Thandeka Shozi is today's Alpha Female, who has over 11 years experience in the sales profession with expertise in South Africa’s FMCG industry.
Working for some of South Africa’s manufacturing giants has given her exposure to people from diverse backgrounds and has built in her, great resilience, respect for people’s differences and the importance of learning from others. She worked at South African Breweries as a Sales Rep Trainee and was promoted to an Account Manager and further promoted to Sales Team Leader. She has also worked for Tiger Brands as a Field Sales Manager and promoted to Market Manager, she currently works at Kimberley Clark as a Customer Manager.
Thandeka possesses an MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma from Wits Business School, as well as an MCom , BCom Honours And Bcom degree in Marketing Management from the University of Pretoria.
Her life mantra is "Be open to look for solutions from the least expected place," and this has taught her to be inclusive and always eager to listen to other perspectives.Outside of her professional environment, she is a mother to two beautiful children, she enjoys and values spending time with her family. She enjoys the indoors, so a good movie always does the trick for her.
Her passion is to debunk the myth that women can't (or shouldn't) succeed in a male-dominated sales environment. She believes in women educating themselves to make an impact in the world putting the "naysayers" to shame.
